Why Join T1 Muay Thai?

Membership to T1 Muay Thai enables the student to take part in the full Muay Thai experience.

Students are welcome to train at T1 Muay Thai without membership initially; however, to progress the student should join to take part in the following activities:

Grading

To climb the grading ladder is essential for a student to assess their own progress, and to gain a sense of achievement.

Sparring

Sparring is part of training in Muay Thai and although no student is ever forced to fight it is beneficial to spar with your clubmates to improve certain elements of the training such as timing, footwork, and movement.

Sparring is considered a benefit of membership, but it is not for everyone and students who elect not to spar are welcome to work other attributes.

External Courses

For insurance reasons only members can attend certain courses/workshops.

When Can I Become a Member?

Usually students train with the club for 4 or 5 sessions when they decide to join.

This is a reasonable length of time and gives you a chance to decide if you like us and also for us to get to know you.

It is important to note that memberships are not always granted. T1 Muay Thai prides itself on the student body and the members need to represent the club in a positive way.

How do I join?

All you need to do to become a member is complete a membership application form and pay the appropriate membership fee.

General Information For Members

Members are expected to wear full club uniform at all times during training.

Club shirts can only be purchased from the club. Thai shorts can be purchased from many places but the club can get them for you if necessary.
